Brazilian industrial production -8.9% vs. -6.2% forecast

Investing.com - Industrial production in Brazil fell more-than-expected last month, official data showed on Wednesday.

In a report, Instituto Brasiliero de Geografia e Estatistica said that Brazilian Industrial Production fell to -8.9%, from -2.8% in the preceding month whose figure was revised up from -3.2%.

Analysts had expected Brazilian Industrial Production to fall to -6.2% last month.
