Investment Strategy

A specialist portfolio, whose objective is a high level of income from interest bearing instruments, comprising a combination of bonds, interest bearing securities (including loan stock, semi-gilts, financially sound debentures, debenture bonds and notes and assets in liquid form), money market instruments and other securities of a similar nature. Interest bearing instruments in a currency other than the Republic of South Africa, may only be included in this portfolio, if they comply with a credit rating of investment grade by the credit rating agencies approved by the Registrar. The manager may from time to time invest in participatory interests or any other form of participation in portfolios of collective investment schemes or other similar collective investment schemes as the Act may allow from time to time, and which are consistent with the portfolio’s investment policy.
