The Sub-Fund aims to achieve a positive absolute return in any market environment over a period of 3 years by keeping a modest level of volatility. While respecting the principle of risk diversification, the Sub-Fund's assets are mainly invested in bonds and similar fixed-interest and floating-rate securities issued by corporate issuers rated with investment grade (i.e. at least BBB- (S&P and Fitch), Baa3 (Moody's) or a comparable rating of another recognized rating agency).

Biography | Chris joined Ignis in 2004 as Head of Credit and manages a total credit team of seven individuals focusing primarily on Sterling investment grade credit. For the four years prior to Ignis, Chris was at AEGON UK where he ran the Rates desk and was in charge of Gilts and International Bonds. Between late 1993 and 2000 Chris was a senior fixed income portfolio manager for Murray Johnstone Ltd (which was acquired by Aberdeen Asset Management) and prior to this Chris was a programmer with National Australia Bank. Chris graduated from Strathclyde University in 1992 with a BA (Hons) in Economics and qualified as an Associate of the Society of Investment Professionals in 1997. |
