The Fund seeks to achieve total return primarily through investment in below Investment Grade fixed income securities issued by corporations throughout the world. The Fund invests predominantly in corporate debt securities rated below Investment Grade which are listed or traded on Regulated Markets worldwide. The types of debt securities in which the Fund can invest include but are not limited to bonds and notes (including government bonds, corporate bonds, structured notes (provided they are freely transferable and unleveraged), asset-backed and mortgage-related securities), money market instruments (including government bills, commercial paper, bankers' acceptances and certificates of deposit), preferred securities and convertible securities.

Biography | Chris is Head of Fixed Income Manager Selection at Barclays Private Bank and Wealth Management covering all liquid fixed income strategies. Chris has been specialising in fixed income manager research since 2011. Previously, Chris was responsible for the team’s quantitative manager research, portfolio construction and risk processes across both equities and fixed income. He also spent time developing and integrating Fund Management Systems. Chris joined Barclays in 2006 from Mitsubishi UFJ where he worked as a credit analyst. Chris graduated from Durham University with a BSc in Mathematics and Economics and an MSc in Finance Investment. He is both a CFA Charterholder and a CAIA Charterholder as well as completing the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing. | ||
