The fund is invested in fixed income securities denominated in Norwegian kroner, and has a maximum fixed rate for 12 months. The duration of the fund will normally be in the interval 0-6 months. Up to 25% of the fund's value may be invested in bonds with floating rate notes. The weighted average maturity will not exceed 1.5 years. Investments are made mainly in fixed income securities with a minimum credit quality of BBB minus ("investment grade"). Proportion of subordinated loans is a maximum of 15%. The fund has moderate risk profile. Fixed income funds will be exposed to credit risk. That is the risk that the issuer will not be able to meet its obligations when the bond matures. The Fund is classified as a money market fund of the Mutual Fund Association (VFF).

Biography | Atle Jan Røyrvik is portfolio manager for Norwegian fixed income portfolios. He has managed DNB Asset Management's money market funds since February 1999. He joined DNB in 1988 where he worked in the bank's liquidity department. From 1990 to 1999, Atle managed DNB Bank's own holdings of bonds in Norwegian kroner. Previously he worked for Petroleum and Energy Department, where he worked on monitoring Norwegian Governments economic interests in Statoil and macroeconomic projections for the petroleum sector in the national budget. Røyrvik holds an MBA from NHH in Bergen. He has also acheived the title as renteanalyiker from NFF. |
