Emphasis is placed on investments in small and medium capitalization companies in Asia ex-Japan, with the main focus on the mid-caps, especially in listed equities or equity-related securities (such as convertible bonds, global depositary receipts and shares). The Sub-Fund will invest in equities at least 51% of its net assets. Investments in other UCITS(s) or UCI(s) will never exceed 10% of the net assets of the Sub-Fund.

Biography | Parameswara Krishnan is Portfolio Manager for DNB India. Mr. Krishnan joined DNB in 1998 as an Equity Analyst/Portfolio Manager and has been responsible for the Indian part of the Asian Small Cap fund since 1999. From 1994, he was a director for Anush Shares & Securities in Chennai and from 1993 to 1994 he worked for ITI Pioneer AMC where he was involved in setting up Kothari Pioneer Mutual Fund. From 1990 to 1992, he was portfolio manager of the SBI Mutual Fund in Bombay. He was the fund manager of the first bank sponsored mutual fund in India as well as the first ever private sector mutual fund in India. Mr. Krishnan speaks Tamil, English and Hindi and is located in Carlson's office in Chennai, India.
