Investment Strategy

The Sub-Fund's investment objective is to provide Unitholders with a high current income through a diversified portfolio based on the acquisition of fixed-income securities, with no currency restriction. The sub-fund’s investment policy will be oriented to the acquisition of debt securities or similar securities and preferred stock with a main focus on issuing entities which are rated below investment grade, as assigned by international rating companies, and on entities which, although unrated, are considered of comparable credit quality. The Sub-Fund will have no restriction in terms of geographical asset allocation. As a result, the Sub-Fund may have significant exposure to government bonds, credit bonds, emerging market bonds, high yield bonds, convertible bonds and covered bonds whose rating is not investment grade (below BBB-), i.e.: sub-investment grade securities. These securities will represent up to a maximum of 100% of the Sub-Fund’s net assets.
