Absa Property Equity Fund will be a specialist type fund with its primary objective to provide the investor with returns and growth over the medium to longer term at medium to high risk, predominantly obtained in the South African property market and sector. The majority of its assets will be invested in South African investment markets at all times and will predominantly be invested in securities of a property equity nature traded on the South African exchanges, participatory interests that derive income and growth of property nature, as well as non-equity securities.

After completing his commerce qualifications and articles at Ernst & Young, he joined what was then Standard Corporate and Merchant Bank before joining Standard Bank Properties and later Stanlib, before moving to Meago Asset Management.
