Futures trading simply put is trading something in the future. Of course, it is more complicated than that, understanding what June gold or August oil means and pricing them can be complicated but profitable. When the closing bell rings at 4 p.m. and the stock market calls it a day, some investors are still making money — in futures. But trading in futures can be tricky. For example, today is June 30th and you think Gold will rise in price until mid-August. The Gold contracts available are February, April, June, August, October and December. As it is the end of June and this contract has already expired, you would probably choose the August or October Gold contract.

You can trade stocks, commodities and other assets in the future. Understanding the ins and outs of future trading and how to forecast future pricing can be very profitable. Come to this class to learn how.
