Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Industry, Infrastructure and Property sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Centex Tbk Prf (JK:CNTX_p), which rose 24.14% or 175.00 points to trade at 900.00 at the close. Prima Alloy Steel Universal (JK:PRAS) added 17.80% or 42 points to end at 278 and First Media Tbk (JK:KBLV) was up 14.14% or 280 points to 2260 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Equity Development Investment (JK:GSMF), which lost 9.84% or 12 points to trade at 110 in late trade. Ratu Prabu Energi Tbk (JK:ARTI) declined 9.82% or 11 points to end at 101 and Tempo Inti Media Tbk (JK:TMPO) shed 9.64% or 19 points to 178.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 184 to 103 and 95 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.46% or 0.20 to $43.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.46% or 0.21 to hit $45.74 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $1317.75 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.07% to 13137.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.01% to 9912.70.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.01% at 95.78.
