Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Consumer Industry and Manufacturing sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA), which rose 20.00% or 25 points to trade at 150 at the close. Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara Tbk PT (JK:MKNT) added 18.57% or 78 points to end at 498 and Surya Esa Perkasa Tbk (JK:ESSA) was up 16.00% or 200 points to 1450 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Centratama Telekomunikasi Ind (JK:CENT), which lost 9.93% or 14 points to trade at 127 in late trade. Bank Mayapada Internasional (JK:MAYA) declined 9.84% or 310 points to end at 2840 and Maskapai Reasuransi Indonesia (JK:MREI) shed 9.83% or 470 points to 4310.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 158 to 116 and 98 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.09% or 0.04 to $46.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.71% or 0.34 to hit $47.99 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.29% or 3.85 to trade at $1340.85 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.05% to 13058.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.05% to 10016.45.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.03% at 95.34.
