Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA), which rose 1.52% or 0.85 points to trade at 56.95 at the close. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 1.49% or 8.5 points to end at 578.5 and Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) was up 1.07% or 0.95 points to 89.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which fell 2.95% or 4.70 points to trade at 154.50 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 1.94% or 1.75 points to end at 88.50 and SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb) was down 1.88% or 3.2 points to 166.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 288 to 147 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.73% or 0.31 to $42.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.17% or 0.09 to hit $48.66 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.26% or 2.90 to trade at $1115.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.34% to 9.4250, while USD/SEK rose 0.19% to 8.5508.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.23% at 97.06.
