Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (COP:DSV), which rose 0.04% or 0.1 points to trade at 244.7 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (COP:GN) fell 0.34% or 0.4 points to end at 119.0 and Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) was down 0.69% or 2.0 points to 286.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (COP:GEN), which fell 4.13% or 27.0 points to trade at 627.0 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) declined 3.15% or 7.1 points to end at 218.3 and Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) was down 3.07% or 10.4 points to 328.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 110 to 39 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) fell to 5-year lows; falling 3.15% or 7.1 to 218.3.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.84% or 1.30 to $44.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.58% or 1.25 to hit $47.34 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.09% or 12.50 to trade at $1133.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.43% to 6.6365, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4607.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.33% at 96.05.
