Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Investment, Agriculture and Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which rose 2.30% or 1400.0 points to trade at 62400.0 at the close. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 1.68% or 20.0 points to end at 1210.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) was up 1.16% or 440.0 points to 38300.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 3.69% or 135.0 points to trade at 3520.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 2.05% or 200.0 points to end at 9550.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 1.11% or 7.0 points to 622.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 10 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.58% or 0.87 to $149.90 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.60% or 35.50 to hit $2251.00 , while the February Gold contract rose 1.57% or 18.75 to trade at $1214.95 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.90% to 2918.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.20% to 910.32.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.14% at 100.37.
