Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Real Estate, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.16% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 1.92% or 0.69 points to trade at 36.70 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) added 1.71% or 11.0 points to end at 652.5 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 1.18% or 2.80 points to 239.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which fell 1.95% or 3.7 points to trade at 185.9 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.70% or 170 points to end at 9805 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was down 1.59% or 4.1 points to 254.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 78 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) rose to all time highs; up 1.71% or 11.0 to 652.5.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.41% or 0.17 to $41.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.28% or 0.56 to hit $44.74 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.18% or 1.90 to trade at $1076.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.84% to 7.0083, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4598.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.61% at 99.69.
