Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Information Technology, Transport and Basic Metals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 declined 1.16%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Tumosan Motor Ve Traktor (IS:TMSN), which rose 4.65% or 0.410 points to trade at 9.230 at the close. Meanwhile, Do-Co (IS:DOCO) added 4.60% or 12.50 points to end at 284.00 and Ihlas Holding (IS:IHLAS) was up 4.17% or 0.010 points to 0.240 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Koza Madencilik (IS:KOZAA), which fell 4.20% or 0.050 points to trade at 1.140 at the close. Sise Cam (IS:SISE) declined 4.06% or 0.130 points to end at 3.070 and Eczacibasi Yatirim (IS:ECZYT) was down 3.69% or 0.40 points to 10.45.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 271 to 129 and 13 ended unchanged.

Gold for December delivery was down 0.71% or 7.60 to $1068.70 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 1.50% or 0.63 to hit $42.53 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 2.25% or 1.00 to trade at $45.66 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.73% to 2.8491, while EUR/TRY rose 0.42% to 3.0236.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.29% at 99.94.
