Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Auto & components and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.80%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Yara International ASA (OL:YAR), which rose 2.44% or 9.5 points to trade at 398.9 at the close. Meanwhile, DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) added 1.83% or 0.16 points to end at 8.88 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was up 1.83% or 0.30 points to 16.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Opera Software ASA (OL:OPERA), which fell 3.98% or 2.00 points to trade at 48.30 at the close. Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) declined 3.46% or 1.10 points to end at 30.65 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was down 3.09% or 1.30 points to 40.82.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 111 to 65 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.37% or 0.60 to $44.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.54% or 0.26 to hit $48.18 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.21% or 2.30 to trade at $1090.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.76% to 9.2451, while USD/NOK fell 0.14% to 8.6534.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.39% at 99.51.
