Kin Mining NL, soon to be renamed Patronus Resources Ltd, has appointed experienced mining executive John Ingram as chief operating officer.

Ingram is a geologist with more than 25 years of experience in Australia, South America, West Africa and Europe having held a wide range of senior corporate, operational, and technical roles.

He joins Patronus after serving in senior roles at Pilbara Minerals Ltd, IGO Limited and Western Areas, and his broad range of experience and expertise is expected to will greatly assist Patronus with its project development and growth ambitions.

Experience “will be invaluable”

Patronus executive chairman Rowan Johnston said: "As Patronus moves into its next phase of aggressive exploration in the Leonora district, works towards the completion of the merger with PNX and planning for the exploration in the NT the workload has increased dramatically and John’s experience both technically and corporately will be invaluable.

"John has a great deal of experience in corporate development and with our strong balance sheet we will put this experience to work reviewing and analysing opportunities.

"I have worked with John previously and look forward to renewing the relationship and growing the company through good science, hard work, that is Patronus."

Ingram holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geology with postgraduate qualifications in Geostatistics and is a member of the AusIMM.
