International Graphite Ltd (ASX:IG6) has selected existing non-executive director David Pass to take on the role of chief technical officer as the company moves toward the next stage of operations at its Springdale Graphite Project and Collie Processing Plant in Western Australia.
A metallurgist with 30 years of experience in the mining industry, Pass has been providing process design, metallurgical and graphite markets advice to International Graphite since the company’s formation in 2018.
He’s held numerous senior management positions, with expertise across all facets of operational processing, process design, project management, due diligence and management of mine operations.
“Exceptional experience and commitment”
“Formalising the role of chief technical officer is an important step in resourcing the expanding demands of our Collie R&D and downstream processing facilities, battery anode material process design studies and the integration of this work with the development of the Springdale Graphite Project,” International Graphite managing director and CEO Andrew Worland said.
“The company is extremely fortunate to have Dave’s exceptional experience and commitment to draw on. He is an outstanding asset for the business.”
As the CEO of Battery Limits Ltd, Pass is also well positioned to provide a variety of technical professional services to the company to develop the Springdale Graphite Project and downstream processing facilities based on arm’s length commercial rates.
