Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 3.03% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 0.76% or 1.8 points to trade at 234.7 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) fell 0.93% or 3.2 points to end at 341.9 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 1.82% or 11.0 points to 593.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which lost 9.02% or 770 points to trade at 7770 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 8.58% or 760 points to end at 8100 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 6.30% or 16.2 points to 240.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 135 to 19 and 10 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.98% or 1.42 to $46.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.88% or 1.41 to hit $47.63 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.19% or 2.45 to trade at $1324.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.72% to 6.7430, while EUR/DKK fell 0.08% to 7.4370.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.91% at 96.50.
