Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Chemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 0.64% or 2.4 points to trade at 374.7 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 0.62% or 6.0 points to end at 979.5 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to 1233.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 3.45% or 310 points to trade at 8675 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 3.19% or 275 points to end at 8335 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) shed 1.96% or 6.2 points to 310.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 113 to 34 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.27% or 0.65 to $50.58 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.03% or 0.54 to hit $51.97 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.91% or 11.55 to trade at $1273.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.65% to 6.5692, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4349.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.46% at 94.02.
