Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Financials and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 0.75% or 1.5 points to trade at 202.5 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 0.65% or 0.25 points to end at 38.81 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was up 0.62% or 1.8 points to 294.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 3.32% or 12.8 points to trade at 373.2 in late trade. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 0.97% or 7.0 points to end at 712.0 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) shed 0.95% or 4.7 points to 489.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 67 to 52 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.56% or 0.24 to $42.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.66% or 0.30 to hit $45.52 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 7.95 to trade at $1257.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.39% to 6.6432, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4371.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 96.96.
