Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 1.95% or 420.0 points to trade at 22000.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) added 1.90% or 140.0 points to end at 7500.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 1.85% or 300.0 points to 16500.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which fell 2.14% or 35.0 points to trade at 1600.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 1.20% or 40.0 points to end at 3300.0 and Corp Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was down 0.91% or 340.0 points to 36900.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 16 to 12.
Shares in Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) fell to all time lows; losing 2.14% or 35.0 to 1600.0.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.59% or 0.75 to $125.53 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 2.05% or 68.50 to hit $3276.00 , while the August Gold contract fell 1.01% or 11.10 to trade at $1092.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.78% to 2790.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.92% to 864.79.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.23% at 97.63.
