Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Services, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 1.10% or 6.0 points to trade at 552.0 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) added 0.79% or 220.0 points to end at 28220.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was up 0.78% or 0.2 points to 26.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which lost 2.52% or 800.0 points to trade at 30980.0 in late trade. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) declined 1.74% or 580.0 points to end at 32700.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 0.48% or 5.0 points to 1040.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 12 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.70% or 0.90 to $127.92 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.01% or 37.50 to hit $1904.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.33 to trade at $1291.37 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.75% to 2960.76, while BRL/COP fell 0.82% to 941.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 93.23.
