Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Agriculture and Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 3.45% or 520.0 points to trade at 15600.0 at the close. Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) added 2.41% or 60.0 points to end at 2550.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 1.89% or 500.0 points to 26900.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 1.49% or 30.0 points to trade at 1990.0 in late trade. Cemargos (CN:CCB) declined 0.93% or 100.0 points to end at 10620.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) shed 0.79% or 80.0 points to 10020.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 10 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 2.99% or 3.66 to $125.88 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $3050.50 , while the April Gold contract fell 1.27% or 16.20 to trade at $1256.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.06% to 3219.30, while BRL/COP rose 1.87% to 896.12.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.02% at 96.17.
