Aruma Resources Ltd (ASX:AAJ) has bolstered its exploration expertise through the appointment of veteran geologist Glenn Grayson as chief operating officer.
Grayson has a proven track record of generating resources and reserves through mining operations in the goldfields of Western Australia and Victoria.
Moving forward, he will assume a leadership role in Aruma’s field work and exploration programs, including exploration strategy and planning and executing exploration programs.

Aruma managing director Peter Schwann said: “We view Mr Grayson as an ideal fit to progress our exciting Salmon Gums and Melrose gold projects from exploration through to evaluation and possible development, and also our ongoing work at the Mt Deans Lithium-Rubidium Project.
“His experience and understanding of geology will allow him to make a major contribution to the company moving forward, and we welcome Glenn and look forward to him becoming an integral member of our team.
Notable positions
Grayson has more than 27 years of experience as a geologist and has a strong depth of technical expertise in gold exploration and development in Western Australia and Victoria.
Prior to taking on the role with Aruma, he was an exploration manager for Kin Mining for the past five years.
In this position, he helped Kin advance their projects from prospect to mining proposal by instituting a technical approach to exploration.
He is also well versed in exploration in volcano-sedimentary terranes and all the statutory requirements to allow development.
