Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Trade and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.21%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Minna Padi Investama Tbk (JK:PADI), which rose 25.00% or 102 points to trade at 510 at the close. Indo Kordsa Tbk (JK:BRAM) added 19.65% or 2250 points to end at 13700 and Marga Abhinaya Abadi Tbk PT (JK:MABA) was up 13.76% or 260 points to 2150 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (JK:DOID), which lost 11.69% or 90 points to trade at 680 in late trade. Indorama Synthetics Tbk (JK:INDR) declined 11.16% or 135 points to end at 1075 and Lippo General Insurance Tbk (JK:LPGI) shed 10.55% or 625 points to 5300.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 187 to 134 and 126 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.23% or 0.57 to $46.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.15% or 0.56 to hit $49.16 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 3.63 to trade at $1250.67 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.09% to 13323.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.01% to 10546.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 93.82.
