Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.61%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 4.02% or 530 points to trade at 13710 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 3.85% or 480 points to end at 12940 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 2.17% or 8.4 points to 395.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 2.66% or 18.0 points to trade at 658.5 in late trade. Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to end at 293.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) gained 0.07% or 0.2 points to 279.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 69 to 42 and 24 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.57% or 0.25 to $44.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.54% or 0.25 to hit $46.96 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 2.06 to trade at $1211.76 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.03% to 6.5251, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4359.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 95.84.
