Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Industrials and Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.75%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 2.10% or 0.71 points to trade at 34.58 at the close. Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) added 0.39% or 0.10 points to end at 25.84 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) was up 0.24% or 0.08 points to 33.31 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which lost 3.59% or 0.91 points to trade at 24.47 in late trade. Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) declined 3.10% or 0.134 points to end at 4.192 and Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V) shed 3.04% or 0.82 points to 26.12.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 111 to 60 and 19 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for October delivery was down 3.40% or 1.48 to $42.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 3.77% or 1.57 to hit $40.03 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.13% or 1.75 to trade at $1359.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.04% to 1.1170, while EUR/GBP rose 0.13% to 0.8458.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 95.63.
