Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Real Estate Development and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160), which rose 10.03% or 3.20 points to trade at 35.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) added 10.00% or 2.70 points to end at 29.70 and Dur Hospitality (SE:4010) was up 10.00% or 2.10 points to 23.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which fell 6.00% or 3.00 points to trade at 47.00 at the close. Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300) declined 5.48% or 0.80 points to end at 13.80 and Basic Chemical Industries Co (SE:1210) was down 4.88% or 0.95 points to 18.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 113 to 54.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 3.44% or 1.16 to $32.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 2.24% or 0.81 to hit $35.19 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.55% or 6.10 to trade at $1122.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.43% to 4.0813, while USD/SAR fell 0.05% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.33% at 99.27.
