Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Travel, Household and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General-Composite rose 0.89%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General-Composite were Lykos Inform. (AT:LYKr), which rose 10.00% or 0.05 points to trade at 0.51 at the close. Meanwhile, Reds (AT:CAMr) added 9.51% or 0.033 points to end at 0.380 and Centric Hold (AT:DESr) was up 7.80% or 0.011 points to 0.152 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bank Of Piraeus (AT:BOPr), which fell 5.36% or 0.003 points to trade at 0.053 at the close. J. & P. Avax (AT:AVAr) declined 5.19% or 0.018 points to end at 0.329 and Iaso (AT:IASr) was down 3.53% or 0.019 points to 0.520.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 51 to 41 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bank Of Piraeus (AT:BOPr) fell to all time lows; down 5.36% or 0.003 to 0.053.
Gold for December delivery was up 0.09% or 1.00 to $1088.70 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.81% or 0.36 to hit $43.93 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 0.45% or 0.21 to trade at $47.95 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.10% to 1.0751, while EUR/GBP fell 0.26% to 0.7116.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.15% at 99.14.
