Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.01% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 9.72% or 590.0 points to trade at 6660.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) added 5.70% or 90.0 points to end at 1670.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was up 1.93% or 35.0 points to 1850.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which fell 0.93% or 10.0 points to trade at 1060.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) declined 0.73% or 120.0 points to end at 16420.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) was down 0.49% or 120.0 points to 24280.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 14 to 13 and 5 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.45% or 0.53 to $116.97 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 1.34% or 38.50 to hit $2835.50 , while the April Gold contract fell 2.90% or 36.00 to trade at $1203.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.03% to 3416.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.65% to 838.53.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.13% at 96.87.
