Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Basic Materials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb), which rose 2.31% or 3.4 points to trade at 150.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) added 1.37% or 1.20 points to end at 88.75 and Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) was up 1.36% or 1.50 points to 111.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb), which fell 0.90% or 2.3 points to trade at 252.0 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIBs) declined 0.65% or 1.4 points to end at 212.9 and Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) was down 0.51% or 1.7 points to 332.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 312 to 225 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.98% or 0.45 to $46.51 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.36% or 0.67 to hit $49.47 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.41% or 4.70 to trade at $1142.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.03% to 9.3725, while USD/SEK fell 0.35% to 8.5059.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.50% at 96.88.
