Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb), which rose 2.62% or 7.3 points to trade at 285.6 at the close. Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) added 2.58% or 3.60 points to end at 143.10 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) was up 2.01% or 6.3 points to 319.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 3.83% or 1.45 points to trade at 36.39 in late trade. Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) declined 0.58% or 1.2 points to end at 205.1 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) shed 0.37% or 0.8 points to 218.3.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 337 to 333 and 91 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.95% or 0.49 to $52.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.69% or 0.38 to hit $55.27 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.13% or 14.20 to trade at $1267.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.00% to 9.6075, while USD/SEK rose 0.27% to 9.0489.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 100.82.
