Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 0.78% or 2.1 points to trade at 272.6 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 0.43% or 3.5 points to end at 821.5 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 0.30% or 0.6 points to 202.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 1.31% or 2.9 points to trade at 217.9 in late trade. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) declined 1.21% or 3.5 points to end at 285.3 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) shed 1.20% or 4.7 points to 388.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 87 to 53 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.27% or 0.64 to $49.71 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.17% or 0.61 to hit $51.34 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.09% or 1.15 to trade at $1256.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.7678, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4414.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 97.90.
