Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which rose 5.01% or 3.90 points to trade at 81.75 at the close. Meanwhile, SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 1.71% or 0.58 points to end at 34.58 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 1.70% or 2.6 points to 155.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Handelsbanken ser. A (ST:SHBa), which fell 7.03% or 8.8 points to trade at 116.3 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) declined 4.83% or 4.80 points to end at 94.50 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken A (ST:SEBa) was down 4.35% or 4.00 points to 87.95.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 295 to 251 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.20% or 1.02 to $45.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.55% or 0.76 to hit $47.95 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.97% or 11.40 to trade at $1166.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.24% to 9.4449, while USD/SEK rose 0.18% to 8.3209.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 94.96.
