Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Industry, Trade and Manufacturing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.21% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Lotte Chemical Titan Tbk (JK:FPNI), which rose 21.36% or 22 points to trade at 125 at the close. Meanwhile, Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk PT (JK:BIMA) added 20.00% or 70 points to end at 420 and Tira Austenite Tbk (JK:TIRA) was up 18.89% or 34.000 points to 214.000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk (JK:BSSR), which fell 10.00% or 120 points to trade at 1080 at the close. Ancora Indonesia Resources Tbk (JK:OKAS) declined 9.57% or 11 points to end at 104 and Golden Plantation Tbk (JK:GOLL) was down 9.52% or 8.00 points to 76.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 179 to 128 and 42 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.59% or 0.54 to $33.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.64% or 0.23 to hit $35.76 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.50% or 5.60 to trade at $1122.00 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.26% to 13650.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.25% to 9792.00.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.08% at 99.52.
