Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.29% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 3.04% or 0.092 points to trade at 3.122 at the close. Meanwhile, Valmt (HE:VALMT) added 2.69% or 0.23 points to end at 8.58 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 1.55% or 0.110 points to 7.205 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 4.22% or 0.0980 points to trade at 2.2260 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) declined 2.62% or 0.12 points to end at 4.46 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was down 1.52% or 0.100 points to 6.495.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 125 to 68 and 1 ended unchanged.
Shares in YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.62% or 0.12 to 4.46.
Brent oil for March delivery was down 0.85% or 0.24 to $28.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.28% or 0.39 to hit $30.00 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.14% or 1.50 to trade at $1089.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.25% to 1.0889, while EUR/GBP fell 0.35% to 0.7631.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 99.17.
