Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.42% or 23.0 points to trade at 971.5 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 1.88% or 2.4 points to end at 130.0 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 1.88% or 7.6 points to 412.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 1.35% or 3.3 points to trade at 241.3 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 1.09% or 95 points to end at 8615 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) shed 1.02% or 4.6 points to 448.4.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 83 to 60 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.01% or 0.47 to $46.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.54% or 0.26 to hit $47.82 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1271.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.73% to 6.5877, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4383.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.67% at 94.74.
