Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 3.15% or 1.41 points to trade at 46.16 at the close. Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) added 2.13% or 2.56 points to end at 122.56 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was up 1.66% or 2.9 points to 178.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa), which lost 2.22% or 5.0 points to trade at 219.8 in late trade. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 2.14% or 0.78 points to end at 35.70 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) shed 1.74% or 4.80 points to 270.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 358 to 319 and 76 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.24% or 0.13 to $53.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.12% or 0.07 to hit $56.08 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 7.25 to trade at $1218.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.25% to 9.5196, while USD/SEK fell 0.25% to 8.9963.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 101.70.
