Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 1.19% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 6.40% or 95.0 points to trade at 1580.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 3.03% or 700.0 points to end at 23800.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 2.82% or 680.0 points to 24800.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which fell 2.86% or 0.5 points to trade at 17.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 0.30% or 40.0 points to end at 13500.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was down 0.24% or 40.0 points to 16820.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 20 to 6 and 6 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for March delivery was up 2.52% or 2.85 to $115.88 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 2.02% or 56.00 to hit $2831.00 , while the April Gold contract fell 0.71% or 8.80 to trade at $1239.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.77% to 3411.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.97% to 852.15.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.39% at 96.00.
