Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Energy and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.57%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (OL:REC), which rose 5.59% or 0.09 points to trade at 1.70 at the close. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) added 5.11% or 0.40 points to end at 8.12 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was up 2.00% or 0.14 points to 7.13 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which lost 3.20% or 1.1 points to trade at 33.3 in late trade. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 2.22% or 0.70 points to end at 30.80 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) shed 2.21% or 0.69 points to 30.56.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 97 to 78 and 19 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.53% or 0.67 to $43.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.87% or 0.39 to hit $44.68 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.96% or 11.75 to trade at $1241.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.16% to 9.2338, while USD/NOK fell 0.42% to 8.1905.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.44% at 94.69.
