Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Real Estate and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 1.17% or 14.0 points to trade at 1208.0 at the close. DSV (CO:DSV) added 0.96% or 2.9 points to end at 304.9 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 0.88% or 3.7 points to 423.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which lost 1.56% or 0.53 points to trade at 33.46 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 1.44% or 0.95 points to end at 64.80 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) shed 0.91% or 1.3 points to 141.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 83 to 64 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.28% or 0.63 to $49.96 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.87% or 0.44 to hit $50.80 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.08% or 0.95 to trade at $1217.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.04% to 6.6743, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4380.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 95.72.
