Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 fell 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Frutarom (TA:FRUT), which rose 3.57% or 650 points to trade at 18870 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) added 2.91% or 55 points to end at 1947 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was up 2.37% or 1990 points to 85990 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva (TA:TEVA), which fell 3.18% or 780 points to trade at 23710 at the close. Nice (TA:NICE) declined 2.65% or 640 points to end at 23520 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was down 2.38% or 2130 points to 87240.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 201 to 149 and 101 ended unchanged.
Shares in Frutarom (TA:FRUT) rose to all time highs; up 3.57% or 650 to 18870.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.49% or 0.62 to $42.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.28% or 0.57 to hit $45.44 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.53% or 5.60 to trade at $1061.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.40% to 3.8685, while EUR/ILS fell 0.71% to 4.0859.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.24% at 100.29.
