Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.42%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (COP:GEN), which rose 4.51% or 26.0 points to trade at 603.0 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (COP:TDC) added 3.61% or 1.46 points to end at 41.92 and Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) was up 2.30% or 8.4 points to 373.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa), which fell 0.18% or 20 points to trade at 10870 at the close. Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) added 0.27% or 2.0 points to end at 754.0 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) was up 0.63% or 70 points to 11180.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 104 to 47 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 3.52% or 1.60 to $43.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.49% or 1.24 to hit $48.33 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.40% or 4.60 to trade at $1135.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.62% to 6.6374, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4639.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.43% at 95.80.
