Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Insurance and Biomed sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 fell 0.07% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF), which rose 1.50% or 74 points to trade at 5000 at the close. Frutarom (TA:FRUT) added 1.40% or 280 points to end at 20300 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) was up 1.32% or 240 points to 18370 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which lost 2.89% or 960 points to trade at 32260 in late trade. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) declined 1.18% or 43 points to end at 3603 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) shed 0.96% or 730 points to 75270.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 196 to 133 and 115 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.04% or 1.48 to $47.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 3.41% or 1.73 to hit $48.95 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.18% or 2.25 to trade at $1274.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.33% to 3.8376, while EUR/ILS fell 0.42% to 4.2077.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.16% at 98.47.
