Morocco stocks lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.02%

Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Electrical & Electronic equipment, Utilities and Construction & Building Materials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.02%.

The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Stroc Industrie (CS:STR), which rose 10.00% or 4.04 points to trade at 44.44 at the close. Meanwhile, Colorado (CS:COL) added 5.98% or 4.32 points to end at 76.47 and Residences Dar Saada SA (CS:RDS) was up 5.98% or 8.15 points to 144.25 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Micro Data SA (CS:MIC), which fell 6.91% or 7.80 points to trade at 105.00 at the close. Holcim Maroc SA (CS:HOL) declined 4.98% or 105 points to end at 2000 and Ciments Du Maroc (CS:SCM) was down 4.97% or 59 points to 1126.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 16 to 16 and 5 ended unchanged.

Shares in Micro Data SA (CS:MIC) fell to 52-week lows; down 6.91% or 7.80 to 105.00.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.50% or 0.23 to $46.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.44% or 0.21 to hit $48.40 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.25% or 2.90 to trade at $1175.70 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.10% to 10.9600, while USD/MAD fell 0.06% to 9.6518.

The US Dollar Index was down 0.20% at 94.81.
