Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 2.76% or 6.7 points to trade at 249.7 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 1.17% or 2.70 points to end at 232.80 and William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) was up 0.98% or 5.5 points to 566.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 3.63% or 310 points to trade at 8225 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 3.36% or 280 points to end at 8050 and Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) was down 2.27% or 7.7 points to 331.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 70 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.22% or 0.36 to $29.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 2.77% or 0.93 to hit $32.47 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 2.36% or 29.20 to trade at $1210.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.13% to 6.6997, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4646.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.12% at 96.86.
