Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 2.14% or 0.55 points to trade at 26.31 at the close. Meanwhile, Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) added 1.06% or 0.34 points to end at 32.37 and Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMAS) was up 0.98% or 0.44 points to 45.55 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 4.73% or 0.1460 points to trade at 2.9420 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) declined 2.03% or 0.210 points to end at 10.160 and Valmt (HE:VALMT) was down 1.90% or 0.19 points to 9.82.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 100 to 78 and 3 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.17% or 0.09 to $48.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.54% or 0.25 to hit $46.07 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1106.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.01% to 1.0865, while EUR/GBP rose 1.01% to 0.7136.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.17% at 98.17.
