Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.47% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which rose 3.47% or 1.85 points to trade at 55.15 at the close. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) added 1.92% or 0.40 points to end at 21.27 and Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) was up 1.70% or 0.79 points to 47.39 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which lost 1.28% or 0.46 points to trade at 35.44 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB FDR (HE:NDA1V) declined 0.79% or 0.090 points to end at 11.360 and Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) shed 0.68% or 0.028 points to 4.084.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 83 to 46 and 24 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for August delivery was down 0.71% or 0.36 to $50.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 0.79% or 0.38 to hit $47.98 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.72% or 9.12 to trade at $1276.12 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.50% to 1.1269, while EUR/GBP rose 0.52% to 0.8749.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.45% at 96.72.
